Levels of Access

There are several levels of access for VCU Pain Management: An Online Curriculum:

  1. Demonstration Access
This access is for providers or administrators to view a demonstration version of the curriculum and for the potential use within their program, group or institution. Please contact Leanne Yanni, M.D. for a Demonstration Access Code.
Please note: At this access level there is NOT a function for program administrators to track their user group, there is NOT the ability to obtain continuing educational (CE) credits and there is NOT a printable certificate.
  2. Continuing Education Access
    1. Virginia
This access is currently available for any Virginia provider (non-trainee) with an active license number through the Department of Health Professions, Prescription Monitoring Program. A Virginia Access Code is required and can be obtained from the Prescription Monitoring Program Web site. Continuing education credits are offered free-of-charge.
    2. What are people
      saying about
      VCU’s Pain
      Curriculum?

“The curriculum is an eye opener for practicing physicians. Many unnecessary opioid prescriptions could be avoided. Drug-seeking behavior can be monitored. Pain can be treated effectively with various modalities and not opiates alone.”

      — Anonymous Physician, Virginia

    3. Non-Virginia
Available fall 2008, Non-Virginia providers may obtain Continuing Education (CE) through the VCU School of Medicine Office of Continuing Professional Development and Education (CPDE). There is a fee upon course registration

Groups or institutions who wish to offer Program or Multi-Program Access with continuing credits to their providers may be set up to do so through a partnership with the Office of Continuing Professional Development and Education (CPDE). Please send inquiries to Leanne Yanni, M.D. [E-mail].
