This Web site is a collection of information on pain education for trainees and providers both within and outside of the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. In particular, it provides information for accessing and purchasing VCU Pain Management: An Online Curriculum for personal or program use.
This curriculum is based on the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) competencies and offers continuing education credits. Preliminary data support its effectiveness in improving attitudes, knowledge and practice behaviors related to the management of chronic pain.
